i love friday

ok messing around with this blog stuff, i dont really get whats going on. like why some things are all of a sudden in a larger font? and i want this pic to show instead of the dog.
i am so so so happy its friday. today would be my 3rd night in a row of staying up all night. or put this way i stayed up all night tuesday, wednesday and yesterday (today?)-it gets kinda confusing.
so what could have kept me awake? hours devoted to making one of a kind christmas presents? cause im soo crafty. staying up to discuss politics, and religion, in a smoky parisian cafe? giggling the night away and talking till the wee hours of the morning about hopes, dreams and then reality? did i go to england to test out the new 24 hour drinking law? oh if only.
well folks its exam time! do ya remember what it was like? it seems so removed from what most my friends are doing. strange. anyways somehow the combination of my procrastination and my need for my notes to be just so, weird where perfectionism crops up, gets me through the night, and suddenly its dawn and eoin's like 'do you not sleep anymore?' and well i took naps during the day. i didnt even drink coffee.
so took the last major exam this morning, got a minor one next week not too worried about, its CAL based, meaning computer-assisted-learning which is one of the biggest . . . ok no ranting
strangely im ok, not dozing in front of the computer or anything. think i should probably try to sleep especially if im going to celebrate tonight but on some kinda adrenaline rush. i could so get medical on that as one of the exams was over the endocrine system . . . .

but back to an earlier post, me apologizing for being a lurker, part of it is cause, well, other people's blogs seem to be much wittier. or more interesting, i find myself rambling on about dull things and am invariably unhappy with what ive posted when i look back.
damn its one o' clock.. how to condense this story, em basically the irish ferries company is in a big dispute with its irish workers about outsourcing to eastern europeans, and so today starting at 1:30pm there's going to be a big protest rally with other unions taking part, like the bus and dart drivers, teachers, etc
i need public transportation! dont wanna cycle into town. i havent even thought about christmas shopping yet.
though one of my fave memories of childhood is when the teachers went on strike and we didnt have to go to school for a couple weeks. sooo cool. didnt say 'cool' then, probably something like 'deadly'
could that ever happen in the states? right ta ta for now
