all apologies

so i admit, ive been a lurker, checkin out other's blogs, the comments on mine, and my email, and saying nothin in return. i know i know.
but i am horrified that a company can ban, if that's the right word, blogspot from the company computers.
i mean hello, work is so much cooler when you can write about it.
and my day (aint) isnt right unless i check out what caprice has got to say. which is normally much funnier, more interesting than what ive got to say
so there you've been warned.
proceed at your own. . . .
anyways so i just watched the old alfie with micheal caine. first oh my god he was so hot back in the day! im also listening to 'no diggity' by blackstreet which got me talkin bout 'the day' and all. but really like he was gorgeous in a way that movie stars today just are not. if michael caine was young now he woulda had plastic surgery on his nose, etc, to make it look more . . . . i dunno what the plastic surgeons are even after anymore. like what ideal of beauty?
pretty people in my mind, they're all so similar looking, so bland. symmetrical maybe?
but blah.
no character, no sense of the person behind the lifted eyebrows, cheek implants, straightened nose, fat removal, coloured contacts, straightened nose, chin tuck.
eek see there i go again about to start ranting, which is so boring except to my own ears, and i do apologize for those,
everyone who has bravely read ahead
cuz once i start on this kinda thing.
its almost enough to make you think that im nostalgic for another age,
another time. but thats not quite it.
im upset that technology has gotten us here. and only here.
it sounded so much better in the science fiction books, having all these options,
and being able to do all these things that our grandparents cant understand.
the internet? the one grandparent i've alive doesn't know about it, doesnt want to.

where are we? where's the progress in the everyday individual lives? is the life of a 21st century poor man, that different from than a 16th century one?

and for cosmetic surgery, yeah its great and kinda freaky what they can do with already attractive people,
but people with cleft lip/palate? other congenital disfigurements? 1st, 2nd, 3rd degree burns? cancer survivors? amputees?
i could go on.

im just disappointed. hoped we'd be farther on.
i believe in evolution
sounds so naive that way
anyways in terms of beauty, please look at this car: bugatti veyron
oh my
its just ah

and there are tons of people everyday, doing great things, going silently unnoticed.
the whole thing with death of Princess Di v. Mother Theresa, who got more press?
enough of that
just in case you weren't sure of what was going on in ireland this weekend, wanted to do something fun, marilyn manson is getting married this weekend, in TIPPERARY!! to Dita Von Teese. honey why? i tried to post the pic but when i tested it out, it brought ya to msn.com, rather than story about the manson bride. oh well

10 things to do . . . while bored
