Girl Talk: Pooping Is A Feminist Issue - The Frisky
Seriously ladies, hemorrhoids and anal fissures are sexier than a fart or having to poop?
Both of which require specialist medical attention if bad enough? cause that's even more fun/sexy.
I bravely took my first poop in my boyfriend's house-an important step in every relationship. the toilet overflowed.
He laughed. Constant in boy-man centered comedy? fart and poop jokes.
I also think its a feminist issue because we have to sit down everytime we have to do anything. pee or poop or just change a tampon/pad-try that
one squatting. Until public toilets are more like thrones, and there is no such thing as 1-ply toilet paper, its still a man's world.
I could go on about how the public toilet is a visible symbol (lack of places to put purses etc safely, change clothes, apply makeup) of the patriarchy especially in
Dublin where you can often tell the age of a pub by how difficult it is to get to the ladies (ie had to be tacked on for that time they started letting
women in-eejits ;) # of flights of stairs, how impossible to find-are people staring back as you blankly look for a green sign-what is that all about anyway?
Someday I must come up with a list of places to go based on toilets. it makes a freakin difference.
BUT I do have one thing to say to the Ladies. Urine is sterile. That is why when stranded you can drink it.
PLEASE stop pissing on the seat ffs while hovering, put toilet paper down if that paranoid (first thing you should check in public
toilet anyway-why on earth would you have a man's public restroom stall with no toilet paper......oh yeah) and if really into hovering, lift the seat.

1 in 5 Irish women who have been in a relationship have been abused by a current or former partner.

In 2010, there were 13,575 incidents of domestic violence disclosed to the Women's Aid National Freephone Helpline, made up of 8,351 incidents of emotional abuse, 3,031 incidents of physical abuse, 1,605 incidents of financial abuse and 588 incidents of sexual abuse, including 213 incidents of rape.

troubling account of attachment to inanimate object #spoiiledluckyproblems
So this is a bit of a whinge. just a warning.
I accepted a lift and not thinking left my coat in the car.
Which had my phone, wallet which I noticed right away, however I've just discovered, my Ipod, was in the pockets as well.
Once I got out I realised my mistake about coat, and ran around literally begging people for change so I could call my phone right away-thank you generous people of Dublin (didn't get a thing-even from the lads opening the Centra-so not going there again).
The guy with the car decided to call my phone and leave a voicemail, but did not leave his number (in phone).
I contacted o2, and checked my voicemail and they told me how to supposedly return the call, that didn't work.
Which I think might have something to do with my retro phone which has 6 digits on it. lovely ring tone ;)
At least I could change my voicemail. Not having a rain coat yesterday sucked. Not having a wallet/money and having to cancel all the cards sucked.
But today I just realised my Ipod was in that jacket. And I've been crying ever since.
See my MacBook (8 yrs and going strong) earlier this year lost everything including all my music (do not say anything about external backup, I've heard it all), and so all my music was left on that Ipod.
I have most of the original music-I'm an album buyer, but my old laptop won't read cd's anymore.
I have no Ipod anyway.
And that, the loss of my music is what has me crying today.
I know there are far far more serious things to cry over in this life, and in the world. I post about them!
But Ipod I will miss you dearly. The times you kept me sane on the bus. Allowed me to ignore chuggers. Distracted me from the rain by a song that helped me run/walk faster.
All the runs that literally it was only the music that kept me going especially when getting lost in Mount Merrion.
See Clontarf is easy, run downhill, will eventually end up at sea. In Mount Merrion, run up and down hills and end up?!?
Anyways I hope enough people turn out for the Dublin Movember Run in Phoenix Park-Saturday, 10am, be there-so I won't miss it during the race.
I just need someone to draw a fantastic Mo for me (cant buy a big furry one, get too creative with outfit).
