the project for the new american century

just sounds sinister doesnt it? watched a mtv show about returning marines the struggle to readjust and listened to this interview discussing the us relationship with israel, to the tune of several billion a year or $500 for each israeli citizen. interview John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt are two American professors who joined forces to tackle a topic they knew would provoke a fierce backlash.
"noted for its reliability, with waiting times having been halved . . . with better wheelchair accessability and a 90% reduction in emissions."
what is the subject of this emotive quote? the london bus system. yes busses. sometimes i wish i carpooled. when its ugly and only the briefest of contact with the elements is desired.
i love saudi arabia admonishing pakistan about allowing the former leader shariz (?) back in. talking about freedom and democracy. the same place a judge sentenced a gang rape victim to 200 lashes. not sure where to even start with that. hasnt she experienced enough violence? has she dishonoured her family so, is impure and so it would best for all involved that she die? who's going to want her as his wife?
must get coffee. a new place opened up just down the road. and theres the sunday papers.

what was even better is that the lashes were actually the second sentence. the judges all got to together to think about the first sentence and then came back with the even handed 200!
